With COVID-19 cases in the USA again surging and the number of people wanting to get vaccinated plummeting, the Democrats have a problem.

If economic growth slows due to reimposed mask mandates or lockdowns, the Democrats are looking at a big loss in the Congressional midterm elections in 2022.

So they are desperately trying to change the narrative.

Unfortunately for the Democrats and their allies in the mainstream media, Trump is no longer President and so they can’t try to blame him for their problems.

Can’t move on, won’t move on

Or so you’d think.

Like a crazy ex-girlfriend, Nancy Pelosi is still obsessed with Trump.

So she has decided to use the absurd January 6 Commission hearings to again go after Trump and his supporters.

For the two people on Earth who might be unaware, on January 6 this year a small number of supposed Trump supporters and others breached The Capitol in Washington DC and strolled through the hallowed halls of Congress.

One – quelle horreur! – even sat on Nancy Pelosi’s chair!

Democrats and the media – but I repeat myself – seized on these idiots’ actions to try to destroy their old enemy Trump and by association, his tens of millions of supporters.

All violence should be condemned

People on all sides of politics quickly condemned the January 6 rioters and demanded that they face the full force of the law.

And who can argue with that?

Except most of these very same people didn’t similarly condemn the thuggery, riots, murder, rape, arson and theft committed by BLM supporters.

Instead, the BLM thugs were widely supported by pretty much every Democrat, too many weak establishment Republicans and a corrupt mainstream media.

So the only people who have been intellectually consistent and condemned all violence are the small number of Republicans who condemned both the BLM thugs and the January 6 rioters.

As phony as Kamala Harris

I thought the reaction by the media and anti-Trump politicians to January 6 was over-the-top hysterical even by their pathetically low standards.

But now they have upped the ante with this ridiculous January 6 commission.

And soon to be ex-Congressional Republicans like Lynne “Iraq War” Cheney and Adam Kinzinger have contributed to the sham investigation.

But everyone knows that they hate Trump, hence their nickname “Pelosi Republicans”.

And everyone knows that Pelosi refused to sit the Republican leaderships’ picks for the Commission because she was worried that real Republicans might actually ask pointed questions of her that she would find difficult to answer.

Instead we have Kabuki theatre, complete with fake weeping by failed actor Adam Schiff and Kinzinger, and testimony by corrupt, anti-Trump police.

So much for an unbiased, objective investigation!

Do the Democrats think ordinary Americans are stupid?

They know this commission is as phony as Kamala Harris.

A real investigation

By all means investigate the events of January 6.

But let’s make it a real, objective investigation into who left The Capitol insufficiently defended that day and why.

To make it truly objective, let’s also investigate the BLM and Antifa thugs who were broadly supported by the Democrat party and the mainstream media. In many cases both the Democrats and media actively worked with BLM and Antifa to organise the riots.

If I was investigating the events of January 6, here are some questions I would like answered:

1.     Where was the National Guard?

2.     Why weren’t the Capital Police ready for this?

3.     Why didn’t DC Mayor Bowser ensure there was sufficient security in case the large crowds in DC that day became unruly?

4.     Did any politician or bureaucrat at any level tell the Capitol Police and/or the National Guard to stand down until it was too late?

5.     When did the breach of The Capitol actually begin? (That is, did it start before, during or after Trump’s speech a good 45 mins or so walk away from The Capitol on a good day?)

6.     Why do many videos seem to show police escorting or encouraging protesters to enter the building?

7.     Why haven’t the 14,000 hours of video of this incursion been released?

8.     Were the FBI or other agencies involved in any way, shape or form?

9.     Did the FBI or other agencies have any inkling of what was planned that day?

10.  Did the FBI or other agencies have any informants or agents embedded with the protesters at the time?

11.  If so, did any of these informants or agents encourage people to enter The Capitol?

12.  Did any informants or agents actually enter The Capitol?

13.  Who shot Ashli Babbitt and was it a justified use of police force?

14.  Were Congressional leaders in any way negligent in letting this happen?

15.  What actual physical damage occurred (there seems to be remarkably little in comparison to your typical BLM “peaceful protest”)?

16.  Did any police actually die as a result of the rioters breaching the Capitol rather than from other means?

These are the types of questions an objective, non-partisan investigation would attempt to answer.

Instead we have the Pelosi Farce.

And unless ordinary people are stupid – hat tip: most aren’t – they will see this commission as the farce that it is.

Hopefully it backfires on all the corrupt, hypocritical people involved on both sides of politics.
